Dealer Risk Services (DRS) is a Florida based Risk Management Firm that specializes in the creation of alternative risk solutions for medium to large dealerships. With over 30 years of first-hand experience, the DRS team brings a unique understanding of the rating structured applied to risks by the insurance industry and are experienced in all phases of garage exposures. DRS worked with a division of Marsh & McLennan Companies to create the Dealer Management Group Captive (DMG) to insure risks in the automobile and truck dealership industry.
In April 2019, JLT was acquired by Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management. Marsh includes Marsh Captive Solutions, the world’s largest captive manager and Captive Review’s US 2019 “Captive Manager of the Year – more than $1 Billion Gross Written Premium.” With specialized expertise from global resources, Marsh Captive Solutions brings deep captive insights and advisory capabilities to DMG.
For captive members and prospects, DRS serves as the point of contact and works with Marsh to diligently fulfill all of the insurance and risk management needs for the DMG Captive Members.
The DRS Team are experts in the placement of Large Property and Inventory Exposures as well as Bonds, Crime Coverage, Employment/Management Practice Liability, Environmental/Pollution Coverage, and Cyber Liability Exposures.
DRS and the Actuarial Team analyze all areas of exposure and develops the most competitive solutions available. DRS is the primary contact for coverage questions and day-to-day brokerage matters such as policy reviews, placement of ancillary coverage and the issuance of certificates of insurance and Identification cards. Marsh handles all the financial and regulatory compliance for the DRM Captive.
The DRS team has the industry expertise and national scope to provide valuable insight into litigation trends and the loss control measures necessary to protect the members.
